When Emily was about 14 months old, we really had a difficult time trying to work out what was wrong with her bowel. We had so many doctor appointments and had Emily on all sorts of milk such as Soy and Organic milk. It’s quite stressful to watch them try all these different things. I had so many of you ask me all kinds of questions about Emily’s transition from Cows Milk to Goats Milk, so I thought I’d dive into our decision-making process a little bit more. It’s of course just what we do and it’s totally up to you how you want to feed and care for your little darling.
I breastfed Emily until she was only about 8 weeks old, but by then she wasn’t settling very well with her Milk and was having troubles with her bowel. I talked with Emily’s doctor about Goats Milk and felt relieved when I knew the signs to look for if it was going to be a problem for her. Emily transitioned beautifully to goat milk and has been on it for nearly a year now.
